Accredit a Dyslexia course

One of the main concerns of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is that the professional help available to learners of all ages and abilities with dyslexia should be of the same consistent high quality. In light of this, we provide accreditation for courses that train practitioners how to effectively teach or assess individuals with dyslexia.

By accrediting level 5 or 7 dyslexia/SpLD courses we can ensure that high standards are met by education professionals working with individuals with specific learning difficulties (SpLD)/dyslexia. Accreditation means that candidates undertaking those courses can be awarded an appropriate BDA accreditation on completion, such as Approved Teacher Status (ATS) or Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA).

All BDA accredited courses are passed by the BDA Accreditation Board. We accredit courses in the UK and abroad.
