Giving in memory of your loved one

Leaving a gift in memory of a loved one is a lovely way of celebrating and remembering their life. Remembering a loved one with a gift to the British Dyslexia Association, however large or small, will ensure that we can continue to deliver our vital work and help change lives for the better.

Below are several ways to support the British Dyslexia Association by remembering your loved one.

Donations in lieu of flowers

Asking friends and family to donate to the British Dyslexia Association in lieu of flowers can be a really positive way to celebrate your loved one’s life. Most funeral directors are happy to collect monies on your behalf, sending them directly to the charity of your choice. Though, you may collect donations yourself and send them to your chosen charity, when you are ready.

If you are collecting donations yourself and would like to pay these in, please use this online donation form. It's common for people to make a donation via cheque. Cheques can be made payable to ‘British Dyslexia Association’ and posted to the following address:

The British Dyslexia Association
Office 205 Access Business Centre
Willoughby Road,
Bracknell
RG12 8FB

Whether you make payment online or by sending cheques though the post, please include a note with your donation, letting us know how and why this money was raised, thank you.

Creating a tribute page

Creating a tribute page is a place where you can raise funds or collect funeral donations in memory of your loved one. A tribute page can give friends and family the opportunity to share pictures, thoughts and stories, as well as making a donation to a cause that you or your loved ones are passionate about. You can set up a tribute page using either of the sites below. All money raised on these pages will be sent directly to the charity.

Much Loved

This is your own special memorial website in tribute to your loved one, where you can share memories, thoughts and stories with family and friends as well as light candles, add music, photos and videos.

You can collect fundraising donations for the British Dyslexia Association, organise events, celebrate anniversaries – and much more. Visit site.

JustGiving

Making a donation in someone’s name

Making a donation in someone’s name can be a lovely way to honour their memory, and help the British Dyslexia Association continue our work to support people of all ages with dyslexia. You can donate in memory here, and please make a comment on your donation to let us know why you are sending us this gift.
