Jenny Steele - Head of Marketing and Communications

Jen joined the BDA in March 2022 as Head of Marketing and Communications having worked in the charity communications sector for over 20 years. She works to ensure that people with dyslexia and co-occurring difference have a voice, to increase awareness about the help and support the BDA offers and inspire people to support and campaign with the BDA.

She gained a Masters in Visual Communication and started her communications career as a graphic designer, working for both National and local not-for-profits. She is passionate about brand, establishing new audiences and importantly giving a platform for people to share their lived-experience of dyslexia.
