London Marathon FAQ

What are the benefits of joining #TeamBDA?

Our fundraising team our on-hand to support you throughout the lead up to the Marathon day. We will send you out a running top and be there on the day to cheer you on at our cheerpoint. You will have regular training, event and fundraising updates and we can answer any queries you may have. We have a closed facebook group for you to chat to current and past London Marathon runners.

How much do I need to raise?

If we offer you a BDA charity place we ask for a £100 registration fee and that you pledge to raise a minimum of £1500. If you have your own ballot place there is no fundraising target, but we would be grateful for anything you are able to raise.

How do I apply for a ballot or charity place?

The ballot for places closed on the 26th April, and runners who are successful in securing a ballot place will be notified by the event organisers. To apply for a charity place and to join #TEAMBDA please register your interest to receive a link to the application form once this goes live.

Is there a minimum age?

You must be 18 years of age or above on the day of the race.
