We have now allocated all of our charity places in the London Marathon 2024 event.
If anyone drops out of the event, we will look to our reserve list to find a replacement. If you would like to join our reserve list, please complete this application form.
Do you have a ballot place?
If you are one of the lucky ones to win a place via the London Marathon 2024 ballot, congratulations!! Please consider joining #TeamBDA, we’d love to have you on board. There's no minimum fundraising commitment, and anything you raise would be a bonus. You’ll receive top notch fundraising support and a free running vest to wear on race day. Not only that, but our cheering squad will be on hand to give you a big cheer as you approach the finish line. London Marathon FAQ
What are the benefits of joining #TeamBDA?
Our fundraising team our on-hand to support you throughout the lead up to the Marathon day. We will send you out a running top and be there on the day to cheer you on at our cheerpoint. You will have regular training, event and fundraising updates and we can answer any queries you may have. We have a closed facebook group for you to chat to current and past London Marathon runners.
How much do I need to raise?
If we offer you a BDA charity place we ask for a £100 registration fee and that you pledge to raise a minimum of £1500. If you have your own ballot place there is no fundraising target, but we would be grateful for anything you are able to raise.
How do I apply for a ballot or charity place?
The ballot has now closed, and the runners who were successful in securing a ballot place have been notified by the event organisers. The other option is to apply for a charity place. The BDA have now filled our charity places, but it's worth still joining our reserve list, as we quite often have people withdraw and so we might have places become available. Use the link below to join our reserve list. We will then get in touch if we do have a place available to offer.
Is there a minimum age?
You must be 18 years of age or above on the day of the race.
