Difficulties with number sense is a core indicator for Dyscalculia. Many learners can be affected by the abstract nature of maths and the tendency to teach maths as a set of rules and procedures.

We will look at how we can encourage learners to make sense of numbers through making maths meaningful, practical, visual and enjoyable.
