Awareness talk and event FAQ's
What do the talks include?
- Our talks are designed to raise understanding of dyslexia in a positive and engaging way.
- For schools (ages 10–11): Sessions include a short quiz, activities that encourage empathy and understanding, and discussions on how to support classmates with dyslexia. These sessions can also help teachers meet curriculum elements related to inclusion, diversity, and personal development. A member of staff must be present with each class.
- For workplaces and community organisations: Talks focus on creating an inclusive environment for people with dyslexia, offering practical tools to support employees and colleagues, and helping individuals recognise signs of dyslexia in themselves or others. Improved understanding often leads to better communication, confidence, and performance.
