Tutoring for adults (18+) and learners beyond school
Adults can benefit from specialist tutoring, especially those with dyslexia or other learning differences who did not receive the right support earlier in life.
Adult learners can access tailored support to build confidence and improve reading, writing, spelling, and numeracy skills. Support from qualified specialists such as those accredited through the British Dyslexia Association can make a real difference at any stage of life.
Who it helps
Adult tutoring may support university students, people in work, individuals preparing for qualifications, adults who suspect they may have undiagnosed dyslexia, and those returning to education after a break.
Examples of support
Tutoring can help with achieving at work, exam and qualification preparation, essay planning and study skills, and everyday tasks like forms and applications. It can also introduce practical strategies for organisation, memory, and learning confidence.
Why it helps
Targeted support helps adults understand how they learn and work, reduce stress, build independence, and gain confidence in study, work, and daily life.
