What is the Dyslexia Friendly Quality Mark?
The Dyslexia Friendly Quality Mark provides a framework of support and understanding to ensure that everyone within your setting understands the needs of the dyslexic individual and that the appropriate resources and strategies for support are available.
Our team will support you through the improvement process, helping you strengthen practice step by step while also enabling you to demonstrate high standards in inclusion to families, staff, Ofsted and wider stakeholders.
This includes self-audit, action planning, professional learning, evidence gathering and verification, creating a clear pathway for sustainable improvement.
The DFQM also aligns with the Government’s focus on mainstream inclusion. This is particularly important for disadvantaged learners, who are less likely to have their dyslexia identified and more likely to miss out on high-quality support. A whole-school approach helps reduce this inequality and ensures fewer learners are overlooked.
Ultimately, the aim is simple: to help you move from intent to impact, creating inclusive environments where dyslexic learners can thrive and every learner benefits.
If you're interested in finding out how DFQM could support your setting, complete our enquiry form and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss your needs and answer any questions. We'd love to start the conversation.
We welcome interest from mainstream and special schools, alternative provision, independent schools and colleges across the UK.
