Wow! #TeamBDA you totally smashed it! An incredible result from all our London Marathon runners yesterday, completing the iconic course and raising an astonishing £26.5K in the process.
What an incredible day Sunday was! As ever, the atmosphere was electric and watching #TeamBDA take on the incredible challenge of the London Marathon made us all a little emotional. Completing a marathon is never just about the 26.2 miles on the day; it represents months of dedication, perseverance, and determination.

For our runners, taking on the London Marathon was a powerful commitment to supporting individuals with dyslexia across the UK and inspiring others to believe in themselves. We were so proud to be there to cheer them on, and were joined by family, friends and even a corporate supporter or two - special thanks to TPRG for coming to cheer on all of #TeamBDA!

"I joined #TeamBDA in the London Marathon because the BDA holds an enormous place in my heart. I have had advice from the BDA many times as my son is severely dyslexic. He finds school so hard and I support him as much as possible. I ran the London Marathon to honour my son, on the year he takes his GCSE’s, which he is terrified about – the knowledge is in his head but he struggles to get it down on paper. I wanted to give something back to the charity as it has helped me a lot with advice" - Faye
Faye, Jose, and the other members of the team, have certainly given so much to our charity, in total a whopping £27K so far, and counting. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to support and donate. Days like this remind us of the strength of our community and the impact we can make together.
