I am an experienced primary school teacher with 27 years in education, having taught across from EYFS to KS2 in inner-city Liverpool. 

I trained as a Level 7 PGCert in Dyslexia Teacher/Assessor and led specialist reading interventions, delivering CPD training to colleagues on effective reading instruction. I have mentored and coached Early Career Teachers, supporting their professional development, and spearheaded initiatives to promote reading for pleasure within schools. 

For the past three years, I have managed the British Dyslexia Association’s Dyslexia Friendly Quality Mark for educators and workplaces, driving best practice in dyslexia friendly inclusive practice.
