Megan Jarvie - Head of Learning and Service Development
Megan joined the BDA in March 2026 from Camden Council where she been coordinating the delivery of their local SEND strategy and supporting readiness for reforms and Local Area SEND Inspection. Before that she worked in the charity sector for 10 years, including managing Coram Family and Childcare, and in policy, public affairs and campaigns roles at Family and Childcare Trust, Child Poverty Action Group and Diabetes UK.
At the BDA, Megan is responsible for growing and increasing the impact of our services for people with dyslexia, including tuition, assessments, non-accredited training and support for schools and workplaces. Megan’s father, sister and nieces are dyslexic, giving her insight into the difference that high quality support in the workplace and education can make.
