Ryman  

At the heart of Ryman is a passion for helping the communities they serve. Since 2023, Ryman, alongside their colleagues from the wider Theo Paphitis retail group, has raised over £60,000 for the BDA, funding life-changing initiatives like the “Theo Paphitis Dyslexia Assessment Bursary”, which provides dyslexia diagnoses for young people aged 12–21 from low-income households, and sponsoring the Set Up for Somebody Else report, highlighting dyslexia’s impact and shaping recommendations to Parliament.

Ryman has also become a dyslexia-friendly employer, completing all BDA training and embedding supportive practices across their business -celebrating creativity, problem-solving, and diverse ways of thinking in the workplace.

Ryman teams don’t just fundraise, they really get stuck in! From hikes, climbs and marathons to gunging challenges and charity fundraising days, Ryman employees and their colleagues throw themselves into imaginative events that raise awareness and bring communities together.

East of England Ambulance Service  

The East of England Ambulance Service is leading the way as a dyslexia-friendly employer, becoming the first NHS ambulance trust in the UK to achieve BDA recognition. The Trust provides assessments, screening, and workplace adjustments to help staff with dyslexia and other learning differences thrive.
