This Christmas, we need your help!
Wednesday 27 November 2024
This Christmas we need your help! We are asking for support to help us raise vital funds so we can continue to provide services and support to dyslexic people across the country. Will you give the gift of understanding and donate today?
We know that when you’re dyslexic, things that others take for granted, like being able to write (or read) a letter to Santa, can be much more challenging and can amplify the feeling that you’re different and take away from occasions that should be full of joy.
That’s why we’ve created our Christmas top tips for adults and children, so that however old you are, you can enjoy the festive season, free from anxiety and stress.

Our guides have supported people like Tom Hester and his daughter, Matilda.
"Matilda is just one of the nicest humans you could meet. Her warmth and goodness shine through everything, no matter how tough things get.
My daughter’s been diagnosed with dyslexia, and it’s like watching all the challenges I went through replay in her life. It’s hard seeing her struggle with things that feel all too familiar to me. I’ve been working with my wife, helping her understand how to best support our daughter, but it breaks my heart to see how much effort she has to put in for things that others take for granted.
The guide that you've done is fantastic for parents because I think, for non-dyslexic parents of dyslexic children, it's really quite scary."
But we need your help to ensure that we can keep creating and distributing our vital free resources and be here for the millions of dyslexic people living in the UK
This Christmas, will you give the gift of understanding and help support those with dyslexia this Christmas by donating to the British Dyslexia Association.
If you can’t donate this time, please share our Christmas Appeal with your friends, family and colleagues this Christmas. Thank you for your continued support.
