After six years as Chair of the Board of Trustees, we would like to thank Michelle Catterson for her leadership and contribution to the British Dyslexia Association as she steps down from the role.
During her tenure, Michelle has provided strong, thoughtful leadership, helping the BDA navigate a period of significant change and development. Her experience, sound judgement and commitment to our mission have been invaluable in guiding the organisation forward and strengthening our work to ensure every dyslexic person gets the understanding and support they need.
Michelle’s contribution has extended well beyond the boardroom. She has given generously of her time – supporting our events, attending award ceremonies and cheering on our marathon runners. Her encouragement and commitment to the BDA has been greatly valued by colleagues, trustees and the wider community.
We are grateful for the leadership, expertise and dedication Michelle has brought to the role over the past six years. She has played an important part in shaping the organisation we are today and leaves a lasting contribution to our work.
