Help shape the future of the British Dyslexia Association

We’re on a mission to create a world where everyone with dyslexia can reach their full potential. Over the next few months, we’ll be developing our new five-year strategy to guide our work for the future. 

To make sure this strategy reflects the real experiences, challenges and aspirations of the dyslexia community, we’re creating a Lived Experience Group to advise us.

We're seeking a diverse group of people with lived experience of dyslexia to share their views, help shape our priorities, and make sure our plans meet the needs of those we’re here to support.

What’s involved:

• Attend three online meetings (around 2 hours each) in December 2025, January, and February 2026.
• Share your perspectives and experiences in open, supported conversations.
• Review short, accessible materials between meetings to help guide discussions and decisions.
• Work alongside our team to shape priorities and approaches for the years ahead.

You don’t need to be a professional, just someone with lived experience of dyslexia and a passion for making change. We are looking for adults from a wide range of backgrounds to make sure we represent our whole community.
