British Dyslexia Association invites tenders for dyslexia screening tools
Tuesday 16 December 2025
The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is inviting organisations to tender for the provision of high-quality, affordable dyslexia screening tools for children and young people.
Our aim is to partner with one or more providers to widen access to evidence-based screening solutions that can be used in schools, other educational settings, and by parents and carers. Through this opportunity, we are seeking tools that support early identification and help children and young people get the right support as soon as possible.
As the national charity for dyslexia, this tender forms part of our commitment to improving early identification, promoting fairness, and ensuring that screening approaches reflect current research and best practice.
Suppliers are invited to submit proposals for validated, age-appropriate, and user-friendly dyslexia screeners. We are particularly interested in partnerships that can help schools and families recognise early signs of potential dyslexia, improve access to screening regardless of background, and provide clear guidance and reporting to support next steps.
While the main focus of this tender is on school-age children, suppliers are also encouraged to outline any validated screening tools they offer for adults, including use in workplace settings, for potential future collaboration.
