Take on an unforgettable challenge at the Peak District Ultra Challenge on 4–5 July 2026. Starting and finishing at the basecamp in the picturesque town of Bakewell, this event brings together thousands of participants for a weekend of stunning scenery in the Peak District National Park.
You can walk, jog or run at your own pace. The full 100km route follows a figure-of-eight course through some of Derbyshire’s finest landscapes, with wide open views, rolling hills and historic countryside throughout. Several routes pass the iconic Chatsworth House, making this a memorable experience whatever distance you choose. A warm welcome and celebration awaits back at Bakewell basecamp once you complete your challenge.
There are distance options to suit a wide range of abilities and goals, including 16km, 25km, 50km, 75km and 100km. You will receive full support and hospitality along the way, with covered rest stops, free food and drink, medical and welfare teams, fully signed routes with GPS tracking and a finish-line celebration. Basecamp facilities include camping options, parking, transfers, a bar and extensive welfare services. Solo start options are also available.
Charity funding
Pay a small registration fee and commit to a fundraising target, with the cost of your event place covered. By choosing this option, you will be supporting the British Dyslexia Association and helping us continue our vital work supporting people with dyslexia across the UK.

To take part, you must raise the minimum sponsorship for your chosen distance. We require 50% of your fundraising target to be raised five weeks before the challenge in order to secure your place.
Please note that this event is organised by Ultra Challenge. Participants supporting the British Dyslexia Association will take part alongside others raising funds for different charities.
