Take on one of the UK’s most spectacular challenges at the Lake District Ultra Challenge on 6–7 June 2026. Starting and finishing at the Kendal basecamp, this unforgettable event takes you through the Southern Lake District on a stunning looped route.
You can walk, jog or run at your own pace. The full 100km route includes tough hills, the Garburn Pass, historic Ambleside, a halfway point beside Lake Windermere and stretches through forests and nature reserves, with breathtaking views throughout. A huge welcome and celebration awaits back at basecamp once you complete your challenge.
There are distance options to suit everyone, including 10km, 25km, 50km and 100km. You will receive full support and hospitality along the way, with optional camping or hostel accommodation, transfers, parking and solo start options available.

To take part, you must raise the minimum sponsorship for your chosen distance. We require 50% of your fundraising target to be raised five weeks before the challenge in order to secure your place.
