Take on one of the UK’s most spectacular coastal challenges at the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge on 16–17 May 2026. Set along Dorset’s World Heritage coastline, this unforgettable event offers dramatic scenery, iconic landmarks and a rewarding challenge from start to finish.
You can walk, jog or run at your own pace. Starting from Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage and continues along the coast through Lulworth Cove and past the iconic Durdle Door, with plenty of ups and downs before reaching Weymouth at the halfway point. For those taking on the full 100km challenge, the route continues past Portland Bill and along Chesil Beach, before finishing with a celebratory welcome in the vibrant seaside town of Bridport. With stunning sea views, coastal paths and challenging terrain, it is a truly memorable journey.
There are distance options to suit a wide range of abilities and goals, including 10km, 25km, 50km, 75km, the Weymouth Marathon and the full 100km challenge. You will receive full support and hospitality throughout the event, with covered rest stops, free food and drink, medical and welfare teams, fully signed routes with GPS tracking, and finish-line celebrations. Basecamp facilities include camping options, parking and shuttle bus transfers.

To take part, you must raise the minimum sponsorship for your chosen distance. We require 50% of your fundraising target to be raised five weeks before the challenge in order to secure your place.
Please note that this event is organised by Ultra Challenge. Participants supporting the British Dyslexia Association will take part alongside others raising funds for different charities.
