Michelle Catterson

Michelle is the Chair of the Board of the BDA having previously held the position of Vice chair and Head of the Education committee. Michelle has been involved in Education for over twenty years and is currently the Headteacher of a Specialist Dyslexia School, Moon Hall, based in Surrey.

A passionate educator who believes that all children despite their SEN needs are entitled to an education suited to their abilities. Michelle is keen to drive forwards legislative change to ensure that we are getting it right for every child across the UK and that Dyslexia must not be a barrier to an individual's success.
