The British Dyslexia Association's work relies on support from individuals like you. Making a donation is quick and easy, and you can give money in other ways too.
The BDA JustGiving page is a great way to make a one-off donation. You can also use it to collect sponsorship for your BDA fundraising event, or even to set up a monthly direct debit.
Do you own a vehicle that you want to sell or get rid of? Then please think about donating it to us through Giveacar!
Giveacar raises money for UK charities by scrapping and selling old cars. They provide a nationwide FREE service which:
- Arranges the collection of the vehicle from your home; and
- Recycles it at an authorised facility or sends it to auction (depending on its age and condition).
- Scrap donations raise about £35 for the charity (depending on the price of metal) while auction cars can raise much more.
To arrange donation of a car, visit www.giveacar.co.uk or call 020 7736 4242, quoting 'British Dyslexia Association' as your preferred charity.
Payroll Giving in Action
If you would like to make a regular tax-free donation to the British Dyslexia Association, you can do this by signing up to Payroll Giving and have a set amount deducted from your salary every time you are paid.
As the donation is taken from your gross pay, every pound you give will only cost you 80p, or only 60p if you are a higher rate tax payer.
Give as you Live
Give as you Live is an online platform that allows you to raise money for the British Dyslexia Association while shopping online.
Firstly you need to visit and register with the site before selecting the retailer you wish to shop with - there are over 4,000 to choose from. A percentage of the amount you spend with the retailer is then donated to the British Dyslexia Association.
