This programme is designed for Teachers and TAs working with children and young people who want to be able to support dyslexic pupils within the classroom and is intended to provide a greater understanding of the problems that dyslexic learners face, and appropriate methods and resources to help support them within the context of their learning environment.
eLearning or Blended (combination of eLearning and onsite)
This programme is intended to equip candidates with an understanding of the issues that dyslexic individuals face, and how they can be supported to develop coping strategies that will assist them in the workplace, in learning, and in day-to-day life.
eLearning or Blended (combination of eLearning and or In person)
This programme is intended to provide a greater understanding of dyslexia, along with a range of some of the more commonly diagnosed learning difficulties including: Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD); Attention Deficit and Attention Deficit Hyper Activity (ADD/ADHD); Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia. For each of these SpLDs the possible causes, signs and indicators and possible support strategies are explored.
Part of an Accredited Course
This one-day in person training course will enable learners to develop a practical understanding of the key issues associated with screening and a good understanding of the screening process.
