WEBINAR: What is Dyscalculia?

Time: 7.30pm – 8.30pm

This session will explore some definitions of Dyscalculia and make reference to the current debates in the field around this learning difference. It is aimed at those with a general interest in dyscalculia aswell as those who are interested in hearing about the current issues.

Presenter: Pete Jarrett

Pete is the Chair of BDA’s Dyscalculia and Maths Difficulties Committee.  He is also the  managing director of Tutorum Learning and Assessment, and an AMBDA qualified teacher and assessor specialising in maths learning difficulties and dyscalculia. Pete also lectures on dyslexia and maths learning difficulties on masters and undergraduate programmes at Bath Spa University. He is on the editorial board of Equals Online, the Mathematics Association journal for Maths and SEND. Tutorum offers consultancy, CPD, assessment, and tutoring services to schools and colleges. The main focus is around maths learning and improving outcomes for all learners.
