WEBINAR: Making your Child's Dyslexia their Superpower

WEBINAR: Making your Child's Dyslexia their Superpower

Time: 7.30pm

Presenter: Margaret Rooke

About the session and Margaret Rooke

As parents our hearts often sink when we see the signs that our children are dyslexic. We know that the education system - the way that they will be assessed in their early, significant years - has not been developed to suit them and the way their minds work.

This was certainly Margaret Rooke's response when her daughter all but stopped learning as an early teenager. Margaret, a writer, then went on a journey of discovery, interviewing successful adults for her bestselling book 'Creative, Successful Dyslexic. 23 High Achievers Share Their Stories'; then speaking to 100 children and teens for the follow-up 'Dyslexia is my Superpower (Most of the Time)'.

In this webinar you can hear what has inspired Margaret; what has transformed her way of thinking about dyslexia; and discuss with her what she has learned about how best to support your children and yourselves.

Margaret Rooke has been a writer for more than 25 years. She is the mother of a daughter with dyslexia and has interviewed children and young people with dyslexia in countless countries.

We will provide a CPD Certificate.
