Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on the 5th October. This iconic event takes you pass the city’s breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre, and stunning Cardiff Bay.
Since 2019, the Cardiff Half has been a part of the SuperHalf series, which includes Lisbon, Prague, Valencia, Copenhagen and Berlin Half Marathons. Why not start or continue your quest to complete all six Half Marathons by taking on the Cardiff Half with #TeamBDA?
By joining the team and raising a minimum of £300 sponsorship you'll help us continue to be there for everyone with dyslexia. You'll receive:
- A BDA running top to wear on the big day
- Lots of great fundraising and training advice.
- Dedicated support from our Fundraising Manager, providing information in the run up to your event.

Terms And Conditions
1) There is a £30 registration fee and a £1.20 booking fee to register for this event.
2)The closing date for booking your place is 1st August 2025, unless spaces sell out
3) You must be at least 17 years old to enter the race.
4) Unfortunately Gift Aid does not count towards your £300 target.
5) For charity sponsorship places, we ask fundraisers to raise a minimum of 75% of their pledged minimum sponsorship by the event date, with the balance due 1 month after the event. We hold the right to cancel places before the event if we feel the runner will not reach our minimum fundraising sponsorship.
