Those individuals who do not currently qualify for an APC under routes 1-3 may wish to undertake a course of study in dyslexia SpLD to establish the required competencies.

Those individuals studying on a suitable, recognised SpLD teaching and assessment training course (see BDA accredited courses) can apply to become a Student Professional Membership of the BDA.
