New BDA Quality Mark for the Further Education Sector.

Building on the widespread success of the BDA Quality Mark scheme for LEAs and Children's Services, the BDA is launching a similar pilot scheme for the further education (FE) sector. From September 2006 we are inviting FE colleges from across the UK to pilot dyslexia friendly Standards.

The BDA is committed to the concept that dyslexia and inclusion issues are everyone’s responsibility with the FE sector. This pilot scheme is all about bringing dyslexia friendly practices into the mainstream. The BDA Quality Mark Standards are designed to offer a blueprint for putting theory into practice and offer a tangible way to measure success.

Click here to read more about this scheme and find out how your college can become involved.
