Volunteers Needed for ADHD Study

Researchers from the Centre of Reading and Language at University of York are currently conducting studies into the nature of attention difficulties and maths difficulties in children. They are looking for children between the ages of 6 and 11 years with who demonstrate difficulties in attention and/or maths (or maths and literacy) to take part in this study.

Dyslexia in the Workplace Research

A Masters Student from The Roberts Gordon University based in Aberdeen, who has recently been diagnosed as a moderate dyslexic, has set up a survey surrounding research into Dyslexia within the Workplace. The research topic – Dyslexia - Disability or Talent follows on from the British Dyslexic Association’s (BDA) and Business Link for London Advisory Service survey in 2007 highlighting the discrimination felt by BDA members within the workplace. It is the intention to compare the results and analysis from the survey conducted in 2007 noting any significant differences regarding the discrimination felt.
