Thank you for a Successful 11th BDA International Conference

Thank you for a Successful 11th BDA International Conference

I think we can safely say, the BDA’s International Conference (IC) last week was a great experience, a stellar line up of speakers did not disappoint and I met so many wonderful individuals who are all dedicated to dyslexia either professionally or personally. It was a privilege to meet you all, my only wish would be that I could have spent more time with each and every one of you.

On behalf of the BDA therefore, I would like to thank everyone who attended the International Conference. From our sponsors Scanning Pens, Microsoft and Nessy through to all our exhibitors, your attendance provided a fantastic opportunity for our delegates to explore new innovations and products within the field.

To our speakers, some of whom had travelled from afar, you brought with you latest thinking, research and experience. We were extremely honoured that you joined us and shared your expertise.

To all our delegates, thank you. We hope that you had a wonderful time and met up with many like-minded individuals. I’m sure many lasting friendships have been formed and our knowledge expanded. It was great to be truly international with people from many parts of the world including Japan, Malta, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Germany, France, Netherlands, UAE, India and Canada!

To our volunteers and the staff at Telford International Centre, thank you for your support and for the extra touches that added to the whole experience.

Finally, to the BDA IC team, you did an amazing job and I am so proud to be a part of the BDA and to those staff who stayed at the office, again, a big thank you for keeping the wheels turning.

Let’s all harness our passion for dyslexia and move forward as one voice to a society that celebrates and embraces individual differences.
