Professional Membership options

Professional Membership is for those who already hold a British Dyslexia Association accreditation, and have kept their practice up do date and evidenced this through the submission of CPD every three years. Professional Student membership is for Level 5 and post-graduate students registered on a course leading to a specialist teacher/assessor qualification approved by the BDA Accreditation Board. Fees are paid annually and are non-refundable.

AMBDA

£70.00

Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association is for those who have completed an AMBDA accredited course, or hold up to date AMBDA accreditation and is required for all those applying for or holding an APC with the BDA. Applicants have three years from completing their course to apply. Please upload a valid CPD certificate or tutor form to apply.

Professional Membership

This membership is for those who already hold an up to date BDA accreditation Certificate of Accredited Teacher/Practitioner Status (ATS/APS); Accredited Teacher/Practitioner Dyscalculia (ATD/APD); Accredited Tutor Status, Further & Higher Education (ATS FE/HE); or a Teaching Practising Certificate (TPC) but do not hold AMBDA. Please upload your BDA certificate to apply.

Professional Student Membership

This is for students in the UK only who are currently on a BDA accredited course. Discounts on BDA training courses and conferences are not available to Student Members

Dyslexia Contact is our official magazine, and it is published twice a year. It is available exclusively to our members.

Dyslexia Contact is a lively, visual publication written in a dyslexia-friendly style that aims to provide impartial, practical information and advice for issues related to dyslexia. It is suitable for all with an interest in dyslexia including dyslexic people, parents, professionals and organisations.
