London Marathon

The Virgin London Marathon took place on the 17th April 2011 and the BDA had two brilliant runners taking on the 26.2 mile course around the capital to raise much needed funds - James Smith and Ken Buckley

We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and determination for the British Dyslexia Association and what great personal achievements too!!

James Smith achieved a time of 4 hours and 27 minutes and has raised £1,391.00 for us thus far.

Ken Buckley achieved a time of 3 hrs and 54 minutes and has raised £182.00 for us thus far.

Once you have informed us and all is agreed, the best thing to do would be to set up a Justgiving page giving us these details so we can put them up on our website. Then you need to email everyone you know to let them know what you're doing and ask them to support you by donating via your fundraising page. Don’t forget to ask people to gift aid their donations!
