Dyslexia Awareness Week 2011
The dates for Dyslexia Awareness Week 2011 are:
Monday 31st October to Sunday 6th November 2011.
The Theme is: ‘Focus on Dyslexia’.
During the lead up to Dyslexia Awareness Week, we are holding an Inventors, Writers and Art Competition and an Exhibition and Award Ceremony evening for the winners of these competitions will be held on the evening of 1st November 2011, so please go to the relevant links listed to see further details on entering each competition.
On the same evening, we will also be presenting Annual Awards for Dyslexic Individuals for Outstanding Achievements and Entrepreneurial skills, Educational Awards for Dyslexia Friendly Schools and Colleges, Teacher and Teaching or Support Assistant of the Year and a Volunteers Award. Check for further details under BDA Annual Awards sub-section listed to the left.
For competition entries and award nominations, the date has been extended to:
24th October 2011, so make the most of the extended time and please do enter the competitions or nominate now!
Also happening during Dyslexia Awareness Week is a Strictly Spellbound Ball on 3rd November 2011 also listed with further details to the left.
