How to be a Dyslexia Friendly Employer
Dyslexia affects one in ten of the working population. The condition is explicitly listed under the Disability Discrimination Act and failure to adjust can result in unlimited compensation - yet it is usually easy to mitigate. It is also responsible for some rare and useful strengths.
At the BDA we are experts on dyslexia. This suite of three training workshops will show you how to “switch on” 10% of your workforce and avoid costly employment tribunal claims.
The BDA run a number of training courses for employers.
These are:
- Understanding Dyslexia
- Making Reasonable Adjustments for Dyslexia
- Screening for Dyslexia
