The British Dyslexia Association is holding a two- day conference in London to explore the latest research and best practice for supporting and assessing individuals with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.

Dyslexia Explored features a host of eminent academics and practitioners speaking on a variety of topics, including:

  • Professor Maggie Snowling, York University- Dyslexia and Phonological Processing
  • Professor Angela Fawcett, Swansea University - Dyslexia, Learning and the Brain
  • Q&A: Expert Panel - Sir Jim Rose, author of the Rose Review 2009
  • Dr. Joel Talcott, University of Aston - Dyslexia, Reading and Neurology
  • Edward Vickerman, New Teacher of the Year 2009
  • Dr. Tilly Mortimore, Bath Spa University - Dyslexia and Multilingualism: Implications for Teaching and Assessment
  • Victoria Crivelli, Worcestershire Support Services - Technology in Dyslexia Friendly Education
