The BDA organise a number of conferences throughout the year, from conferences covering educational topics such as assistive technology and inclusion, to conferences specifically designed to offer practical advice to employers.

BDA Employer’s Conference- Seeing It Differently

This one-day conference, being held in Waterloo on Tuesday 2nd November 2010, focuses on the visual perception aspects of dyslexia and assesses the costs and benefits of providing reasonable adjustments for employees.

Professor John Stein, from the University of Oxford, will be the conference keynote speaker and will present on the topic of visual processing and dyslexia.

Dyslexia Explored Conference

The British Dyslexia Association is holding a two- day conference in London on the 5th and Saturday 6th November, to explore the latest research and best practice for supporting and assessing individuals with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.

International Conference

The British Dyslexia Association’s 8th International Conference is being held on 27th – 30th April 2011 at Harrogate International Conference Centre with the theme Beyond Boundaries. You can find further information here.
