Training and Events
The British Dyslexia Association runs a number of courses and events throughout the year including nearly 500 training workshops for parents, teachers, tutors and employers; conferences; and a number of fun events including the Spellbound Ball and a day for members.

BDA Employer’s Conference- Seeing It Differently
2nd November 2010
- A one-day conference, being held in Waterloo on Tuesday 2nd November 2010, which focuses on the visual perception aspects of dyslexia and assesses the costs and benefits of providing reasonable adjustments for employees.
- Professor John Stein from the University of Oxford, will be the conference keynote speaker and will present on the topic of visual processing and dyslexia.

5th and 6th November 2010
- A two- day conference in London to explore the latest research and best practice for supporting and assessing individuals with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.
